Family members you invite can view and edit shared pet information based on their assigned role (Owner, Admin, Member, or Guest).
4.2 With Service Providers
When you book services or grant access:
- Service providers (trainers, walkers, sitters, groomers, behaviorists) can view relevant pet information
- Temporary access grants allow time-limited access for pet sitters and dog walkers
- Trainers who verify your pet's skills can view training-related information
4.3 With Third-Party Service Providers
Payment Processing
- Stripe processes payments for service bookings
- Service providers receive payments through Stripe Connect (we charge a 5% platform fee, capped at $49/month)
Advertising
- Google AdMob displays advertisements to non-premium users and may collect device information for ad targeting
Affiliate Partners
- When you click affiliate links, our partners (Amazon, Chewy, Petco, Petsmart) may receive information that you were referred by Trovvy
- We participate in affiliate programs and may earn commissions on qualifying purchases

6.1 Access and Correction

6.2 Data Deletion
You may delete your account directly in the app by navigating to Profile > Delete Account. You will be required to verify your identity by entering your password or re-authenticating with Google/Apple. Upon deletion:
- Your personal information is immediately anonymized
- All active bookings are cancelled
- Your email and OAuth connections are cleared, allowing you to register again if you choose
This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
If you cannot access the app, you may request deletion by contacting legal@trovvy.com with the email address associated with your account.
Note that some information may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, and anonymized or aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained.
6.3 Data Portability
You can export your pet's information using our Pet Passport feature, which generates a shareable QR code containing key pet details.
6.4 Advertising Preferences
- Upgrade to a premium subscription to remove all advertisements
- Adjust your device's advertising settings to limit ad tracking
- Opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings
6.5 Push Notifications
You can disable push notifications through your device settings or within the app.
6.6 California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

7.1 When You Delete Your Account
When you delete your account through the app, we immediately:
- Anonymize your personal information: Your email, name, phone number, profile photo, and other identifying information are permanently removed or replaced with anonymized placeholders
- Cancel active bookings: All pending appointments, class enrollments, and service requests are cancelled
- Remove authentication data: Your password and OAuth connections are deleted, allowing you to register again with the same email or OAuth account if you choose
- Deactivate associated profiles: If you are a service provider, your trainer/walker/sitter profile is deactivated and anonymized
We retain anonymized records (which cannot identify you) for referential integrity and audit purposes.

Certain data may be retained as required by law, including transaction records for tax purposes and records necessary to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.

Our Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
